Ik zie echt niet in wat deze berichtgeving voor nadelen zou hebben voor de rallysport in Nederland.
Volgens mij wordt er niet snel de link gelegd tussen zo'n bericht en een rally in Nederland, maargoed misschien zit ik wel helemaal fout

Jij, ik en de rest van rallyminnend Nederland niet, nee. Maar een deel van de Nederlanders kan dit weer aangrijpen om "zie je wel", "kost dooien"" , "slecht voor het milieu" etc te roepen.

Denk dat onderstaande weergeeft dat niet alleen in Nederland de journalistiek onze hobby niet wil of kan begrijpen... maar met 8 doden duikt de pers er nu eenmaal op...
First off all you dumb “NEWS” people need to get your facts right you are painting a VERY bad picture of a even worse tragedy. It was not like the driver of the truck said hay I want to kill a bunch of people today! it was a RACE something that happens ALL the time over the desert. It was an off-road accident, The truck was doing what it was support to do…. Racing…when a part on the truck failed and sent the truck into the crowed of people that where there to help support all the racers. ALSO what you “missed” was that the truck CRASHED and was there anything said about how the driver and co-driver were NO!!!! YOU have NO right to bring us into any of your news all we are to you is another number on you dam pay checks! Not once have you been there on the start or finish line to asked us how our race went or who helped get us there! NOR were you there last year when MORE along with over 200 women racers help raise OVER 100,000.00 dollars for the fight for breast caner! EVER person that is involved in the off-road family knows what risk they take when they get into a race car or truck or when they are parked along side of the track waiting for the cars to come by, it is not like we are a bunch of stupid people that stand in the middle of the road just waiting to get hit!!! This sport is not a sport at all to us it is our way of life! So stay the F*%# out of it!
