Ze zijn er bij de FIA kennelijk ook wel achter dat het verplicht stellen van 8X18" niet echt reëel is. Nieuwe versie per 23/10:
Rims must imperatively be made from aluminium.
* For gravel rallies the maximum dimension of the rims is 7’’ x 15’’.
* If specified in the Supplementary Regulations of the event (such as snow rallies) the maximum dimension of the rims is 5’’ x 16’’.
* For asphalt rallies the maximum dimension of the rims is 8’’ x 18’’.
En vanaf 2008 is er weer iets verboden:
6.3 Suspension
……….
- Shock absorbers:
Free, provided that their number, their type (telescopic, arm, etc.),
their working principle (hydraulic, friction, mixed, etc.), and their
attachment points remain unchanged.
The use of bearings with linear guidance is prohibited.
Only guidance by plain bearings is authorised.
Kan iemand mij uitleggen wat lager met 'lineair guidance' zijn en wat het verschil is met 'gewone' lagers ?
