Kris Meeke and Paul Nagle (Mini John Cooper Works WRC) are not starting in the auto24 Rally Estonia is
held on South-Estonian roads on 15-16th of July. The MINI WRC Team has decided to not compete on Rally Estonia this coming weekend.

The team was using the event for further testing in the run up to Rally Finland.
The decision has been taken following an accident yesterday during the first of three days of testing in
preparation for Rally Finland. While the team was able to make repairs to the car that allowed it to
continue the test, it was felt best that the car was returned to the UK for a full evaluation and bodyshell
repair in readiness for its next test.

Kris and the team are disappointed that they could not go to Estonia both to entertain the fans and to get further gravel testing in the run up to Rally Finland, but it was most important that the car be returned and prepared for future testing.

There was damage to the suspension turrets but not to the roll cage, which is why the car could be safely
repaired on the test. However, the car needs to be returned to the bodyshop in Banbury for a full repair
and alignment check on the jig.

Total 131 cars will start in the auto24 Rally Estonia which is held on South-Estonian roads on 15-16th of
July. It is the fourth round of Estonian Rally Championships, second round of Baltic Rally Champoinship, the only Estonian race that is in the FIA calender and candidate rally for FIA European Historic Sporting Rally Championship.
